Terms of use

By visiting or using The Virtual Art Gallery you agree to these terms. If you create an artist gallery, the Artist Agreement also applies.

The service

The gallery provides exhibition, discovery, profile, upload, community and enquiry features. Features may change as the service develops. “Coming soon” material is descriptive and is not a guarantee of a particular launch date.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service, interfere with its security, impersonate another person, scrape personal information, manipulate reactions, upload unlawful or harmful material, or use the gallery to harass others.

Accounts

You are responsible for activity associated with your authenticated identity. We may restrict or suspend an account or content where reasonably necessary for safety, rights protection, legal compliance or enforcement of these terms.

Intellectual property

Artists retain ownership of their work. The gallery’s branding, layout and original editorial content remain protected. You may share links to public pages but may not reproduce artwork without the rights holder’s permission.

Availability and liability

We aim to keep the gallery available and accurate but do not promise uninterrupted service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. The service is not a substitute for professional legal, financial or valuation advice.

Disputes and governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in England and Wales, without removing mandatory consumer rights that apply where you live. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any concern.
