For exhibiting artists · Effective 26 August 2026
Artist agreement
This agreement applies when you create a profile or submit artwork. It works alongside the Terms of Use and Community Guidelines.
Your ownership
You retain copyright and ownership of your artwork. You confirm that you created the work or have all permissions needed to upload and display it, including permission relating to people, locations, trademarks and third-party material shown in it.
Licence to display
You give The Orc’s Head a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, resize, display and promote the submitted work solely in connection with operating and marketing the gallery. The licence ends when the work is removed, subject to reasonable backups, existing social posts and legal record-keeping.
Content standards and transparency
You must accurately describe your work and must not submit unlawful, infringing, deceptive, hateful, exploitative or malicious content. You must select the most accurate process label and explain material AI assistance, generated content and collaboration. The Artwork Transparency policy forms part of this agreement.
Review and removal
Profiles and artworks may be reviewed before publication. We may reject, unpublish or remove content, request evidence of rights, or suspend an account. We will aim to explain material moderation decisions where appropriate.
Sales, commissions and enquiries
The gallery may display availability, price information and a purchase link supplied by you, and may pass visitor enquiries through your studio. You must keep those details accurate. Unless a work is expressly listed through The Orc’s Head shop or a separate written arrangement says otherwise, The Orc’s Head is not a party to any sale, commission or contract between an artist and visitor.
Your responsibilities
You remain responsible for taxes, delivery, authenticity, contracts, insurance and any obligations arising from your direct dealings with visitors.
